Ender Sakpinar, Chief Conductor of Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra since 2015 and Chief Conductor of Eskisehir Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra since 2004.
Sakpinar studied composition and conducting at Ankara State Conservatory and in Paris, graduating from Ecole Normale Superieur de Musique de Paris and at Rueil-Malmaison State Conservatory under direction of conductor P. Dervaux and conductor G. Devos. During his assistency in the Pasdeloup Symphony Orchestra in Paris he founded the Ensemble Internationale de Paris and led it until 1986.
From 1987 until 2014 Sakpinar was the principal conductor of Izmir State Symphony Orchestra.
Ender Sakpinar is one of the most sought after conductors of his native country, conducting Turkey`s most prominent orchestras such as Borusan Philharmonic, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, Presidential Symphony Orchestra and others.
